Fabric derived from different kinds of Fibers:

Fibers are derived from numerous sources, crude oil, animal hair, plants, and insects. As  known till this time, plant fibers are rayon, hemp, linen, cotton, which is derived from  hemp, spruce, pine and bamboo. These are twisted and refined into khakis, twills, denims, voiles.

Animal fibers are wool, cashmere and many more which is acquired from shaving or brushing animal or fur of the animals. Worsted wool is the source of gabardine and heavy melton. Carded wool or worsted yarn is the source of flannel; all are for winter wear and whisked cashmere for softness and synthetic to make it tough and lasting.

Among all, the best is the one yielded from the cocoons of the larvae of the mulberry silkworm Bombyx Mori.  Formation of synthetic fibers takes place with a constrained process mainly through extrusion. One of the extruded materials among them is a polymer which includes nylon, polyester, polyamide, antron, acrylic and many more. Synthetic gives the best result when intermixed with natural fibers and they are washable.
